Well I am back!

Last night I went on my elliptical for an hour and I got a great sweat. My shirt was soaked! I used the fat burn mode on a level 10 and wore my HRM.

This was the first time that I have been on my elliptical using my HRM and I was very surprised to find that the machine UNDER estimates my calorie burn!! For the hour I was on it last night, my HRM says I burned 636 calories. The machine only estimated 500 and some odd calories. That is a significant difference!!

This morning I stepped on the scale and I am down another pound!!! My weight this morning was 166.5. My lowest in a long time!

So today I start back with my regular exercise routines.
I head off to the gym this morning for some ARC training before CXWorx.
Tonight is Day one of Phase two of P90X. Biceps, back, shoulders and abs.
Then to mix it up, I think I will be running on the elliptical for a bit after that.

I used to run on it every night for an hour before we moved (and before I had a gym membership) and it was the way I lost a significant amount weight. So...I had such good results last night, I am going to try it again tonight!

Right now I am going to set a goal weight. I don't know if I will make it there with adding muscle or not, but it is a good thing to aim towards. Right now my BMI is 27 which is in the overweight range. My goal is to get to a weight of 155 and a BMI of 25 which would put me well within the normal range.

Tip of the Day: (this one pertains to those of us who have been sick over the winter)

  1. Gosh, how depressing is that? 4 days? Well, here's to success in getting back into your routine!!

    1. Oh man...I thought I was going to die today in CX. And I am still sore from last night. BUT I am going to keep to my P90X plan and then hit the elliptical again tonight.

  2. Just wanted to pop by and say hi! I saw a comment you left on another page and wow! Your loss is so inspiring! I cannot wait to see how you get on by June, because you're doing exactly what I'll need to do when I've lost another 100 pounds! Good luck with everything! x
