Into Day 2

Ok.

So I did OKAY on day one. I did have some coffee. I will admit it.

And I also had a couple small pieces of the kids chicken strips before I could even think about what I did. LOL. But other than that, I had a smoothie for breakfast, an orange, carrots, scallions, and potatoes for lunch and then for dinner I sauteed my veggies with chili powder and cumin. They were delicious!

I am down a pound today to 181.0. Not too bad.

One thing that I had forgotten was how hungry I am ALL. THE. TIME!

Probably because the body can digest the food so much easier rather than having all the processed food and chemicals.

I had a couple bowls of grapes yesterday and I small bowl of applesauce last night in between all the food. It is crazy!

I did realize yesterday that the food I bought will be lucky to last me the week. LOL. I already have gone thru half a head of broccoli, most of my scallions, a bunch of carrots, a good chunk of strawberries, some grapes and most of my bag of spinach. Thankfully I have a bunch of frozen fruit so I can supplement with smoothies.

That is the news for now folks. Have a great day! Stay tuned tomorrow to see how I survived today!

Tip of the Day: I know I have posted this before, but it is relevant to what I am doing right now.

  1. Good luck with your plan! I find myself a volume eater so I eat a lot of vegetables that make me feel full longer.

I definitely have days where I feel like the bottomless pit though. I think that's why a few weeks ago when I made it a rule not to eat after 7, it worked better for me. Now I consciously just stop and late-night eating has waned.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

    1. Thanks! I was really full after I ate lunch this morning (about 11:30) and my stomach is starting to rumble again. Time to distract myself. LOL

  2. That's the bad part about being home. You're always around the food!

    1. I agree. But it also helps me deal with my addiction.

  3. what a great idea to sautee your veggies with chili powder and cumin! I don't think I would have done that before reading your post, now it's a must try!

    1. They were delicious! I highly recommend it. AND I added extra red pepper flakes to mine because Aaron thought that they were too spicy as it was with just the chili powder and the cumin.
